4 Smoothie Recipes To Get You Ready For Spring
Spring is coming, and the blender is blending. It’s definitely starting to feel like we’re all awakening from a long slumber, doesn’t it?
It’s time to awaken from your winter hibernation and use these smoothie recipes to welcome the spring.
If April showers start getting you down, these smoothie recipes will pick you right back up.
We’ve tried these smoothie recipes and love them all equally as if they were our own children. You’ll just have to try all four and see if you agree.
1. Strawberry Banana
For this recipe, you will need one cup of frozen (or fresh) strawberries, one frozen banana, a cup of your favorite milk (we love oat milk!), and a dash of vanilla extract. Feel free to add any extras such as chia seeds, oatmeal, or flax seeds for some extra nutrients. Blend it all and add additional milk if it’s too thick!
2. Triple Berry
Triple berries mean triple the threat. You’ll need blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries for this one, about a ⅓ cup of each. Then you’ll add your cup of milk of choice and one frozen banana to make it creamier. If you’re looking to make it tangier, add orange juice instead of milk!
3. Orange Creamsicle
To nail this recipe, you’ll need one and a half cups of orange juice, a cup of frozen strawberries, one frozen banana, a scoop of vanilla protein, and a splash of vanilla extract. The orange juice and banana are what give it the creamsicle flavor!
4. PB and Banana
For this recipe, you’ll need two cups of your favorite milk, 2 tbsp of peanut butter (or 4 tbsp of powdered peanut butter), 2 small frozen bananas, and a scoop of your favorite chocolate protein powder. The taste is absolutely amazing and will keep you full and satisfied all day.
Any of these smoothie recipes are truly guaranteed to make you feel excited for the hot summer, long days, breezy days, and green grass coming our way. We know we’re excited about it! Not only will you be drinking amazing smoothies every day, but you’ll be supplementing your body so you can live a healthy spring and summer life.
