How do I find PROs in my area?
What if I don’t see a service on the list provided?
Please send all recommendations to email@example.com for review.
Can I request services to be used with vegan products?
Of course! However, each PRO provides their own supplies. Clients can read the PRO's profile for more information regarding the products used.
How long are the appointments?
Appointment times vary from service to service. Once your appointment has been accepted, you will have the ability to connect with your PRO via in-app messaging to find out the approximate time needed for your services.
How do I prepare for an appointment?
Be at home, have an area that is clean and clear for the PRO, have your phone connected to the internet and charged, and pay attention to messages and notifications. In-app messaging allows clients and PROs to interact. Preliminary instructions can be given: pre-washing hair, clean face, available outlets, product allergies, etc.
What if I want to add additional services?
If you decide you want to add more services during your appointment, add-ons can be applied on the PRO’s device, but they must be approved by the client in order to continue with the appointment.
Will my PRO clean up after themselves?
Can I cancel my appointment?
Yes, you can cancel your appointment. Strikes to your profile and fees may be charged to your credit card on file. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions.
To cancel an appointment, follow these simple steps:
- Go to your Timeline.
- Tap on the appointment you want to cancel.
- Tap “Cancel”
- Follow the prompts to cancel your appointment.
If the cancellation option is not available, then the appointment has surpassed the amount of time to be able to do so. For assistance, please contact our booking department at (888) 902-0720 and select Option 2 to speak with one of our agents.
What happens to the PRO if they cancel an accepted appointment?
Strikes to their profile and fees may be charged on their credit card on file. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions.
What if my PRO hasn’t shown up yet?
Our PROs usually arrive a few minutes early to their appointments. However, if your PRO has not yet arrived, you can contact your PRO directly through our in-app messaging. Or, contact our booking department at (888) 902-0720 and select Option 2 so they can reach out to your PRO for an update. MOBILESTYLES App protects its clients! We have a thorough Late/No-Show Cancellation policy. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions.
What if I booked the wrong service/PRO?
If you booked the wrong service or PRO, you may cancel your current appointment and place a new appointment request with the correct service or PRO. Please be sure to review our Terms & Conditions, as some cancellations may be subject consequences. If you need assistance, please contact our booking department at (888) 902-0720 and select Option 2 to speak with one of our agents.
What if I have a problem with my PRO?
We have never had an issue like such occur in the past. However, we value the safety and security of all of our users. If you’re ever in a life-threatening emergency, immediately remove yourself from that situation and contact your local authorities. Then, report the incident to MOBILESTYLES App at (888) 902-0720 and select Option 2 to speak with one of our agents so we may document all the details of the event. Be sure to also report the incident to the Board of Cosmetology.
Can I rate the PRO?
Yes! After every appointment, clients will receive the option to rate and review the PRO, the service, and their overall experience.
Is there a way to book an appointment for one month in advance?
PROs are able to set their availability for up to 12 months in advance. Clients will only be able to schedule a PRO in advance if that PRO has a schedule set up for that period. We have lots of wonderful PROs available for all your health and beauty needs! Please feel free to search for them on our directory.
Can I pay in cash?
For the safety and security of all our users, no cash transactions are allowed, and all payment transactions must be made through the MOBILESTYLES App. Clients can tip through the app or in-person with cash. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions. If your PRO requests to be paid for the service in cash, contact our booking department immediately at (888) 902-0720 and select Option 2 to speak with one of our agents.
What if I never received a payment confirmation?
You can view all pre-authorizations and charges at any time within the Payment Method or Payment History sections of your booking within the app. We may post a small pre-authorization to your payment method on file for the service(s)/PRO requested, and the full payment will be confirmed once your appointment has been completed or accepted, depending on the booking amount. If you have any questions regarding any charges, contact our booking department at (888) 902-0720 and select Option 2 to speak with one of our agents.
Why was my credit card declined during checkout?
Here are the most common reasons:
- The zip code or address on file does not match.
- The debit/credit card on file is invalid or expired.
- There were insufficient funds for the transaction.

Are tips required?
Tips are not required but always appreciated! Clients can either tip in cash or via the app. All tips are 100% for PROs to keep!
Which phones support the MOBILESTYLES App?
The MOBILESTYLES App is compatible with all Apple and Android devices.

If you are having trouble downloading the app, please check your network connection, ensure your cellular data or Wi-Fi is turned on, verify that your App Store or Google Play Store information is up to date, and restart your phone. If you are still unable to download the MOBILESTYLES App, contact our support team at (888) 902-0720 and select Option 3, or text us at (323) 402-6078.
Why can't I log in?
There are several reasons, here are some solutions:
- You need to verify your account. Go to your registered email and search for a notification from MOBILESTYLES, make sure to check your spam box. The registration is not complete until you confirm your identity.
- You need to reset your password.
- Your profile has been blocked because you did not meet MOBILESTYLES Terms and Conditions.

Can I book a PRO without using the MOBILESTYLES App?
The only way to book an appointment is through the MOBILESTYLES App. Follow these simple steps:

- Enter a location
- Select a service or choose a PRO
- Confirm your appointment

Does MOBILESTYLES offer services for weddings?
Absolutely! MOBILESTYLES offers services for weddings, kids' parties, and even corporate events.
Does MOBILESTYLES have gift cards?

How do I get in touch with the Customer Relations department?

Will I be charged or penalized if I am not active on the app?
It is free to have your profile on the MOBILESTYLES App. However, PROs are required to maintain a minimum availability in order to remain as PROs on the MOBILESTYLES App. You will have the ability to decline appointments, but there are consequences for multiple occurrences. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions. If you are no longer available to take appointments, you can deactivate your account so you don’t get penalized for being unresponsive.
How do I add services?
On the MOBILESTYLES App, when you register as a PRO, you’ll be prompted to enter your license information in combination with the services you’ll provide.
If you’re already a registered PRO on the MOBILESTYLES App, to add a service:
- Go to your Profile and scroll down to your State to Service.
- Tap “Edit Services”
- Select the services you want to provide.
- Enter the details for each service selected.
How do I set prices based on hair length?
MOBILESTYLES App offers a wide range of services, with specificity for hair length. For example, your client could book a Pixie Cut (a short haircut) or a Lob Haircut (a medium to long haircut at shoulder level), and you are able to set those prices accordingly. PROs also have the ability to create custom services and prices, as well.
Can I work in other states?
If a PRO has numerous licenses in different states, they are able to add an additional State to Service on the MOBILESTYLES App. Follow these simple steps:
- Go to your Profile.
- Tap “Add State to Service”
- Follow the prompts.
Reminder: PROs must have a valid license for any new states they request to add.
Is there a limit on how many photos PROs can put on their portfolio?
PROs are free to upload up to 99 photos to showcase their work so clients can see how talented they are. Make sure none of the images contain any personal information.
How do you see ratings and reviews as a PRO?
On the MOBILESTYLES App:
- Go to your PRO Profile.
- Tap “All Stats”
- Tap “Ratings”
- Navigate between Received and Given ratings, and tap on individual ratings to see the details.
How do I deactivate my account?
It is free to have your profile on the MOBILESTYLES App. However, if you are no longer available to take appointments, you can deactivate your account so you don’t get penalized for being unresponsive. Follow these simple steps:
- Go to Settings.
- Tap “Account”
- Tap “Delete Account”
- Follow the prompts to delete your account.
How do I find clients?
Registered clients on the app will find a PRO in their area based on their location and desired service. Once you’ve set your availability, clients in your area will see your profile when requesting services. We highly recommend taking advantage of the free marketing tools MOBILESTYLES provides to ensure the success of your business! Once your PRO profile is active, you can share your profile on your social media, utilize your personalized link, and share your promo code with your friends and family.
What is the time frame for responding to an appointment request before incurring a strike?

Do I have to wear a uniform?
MOBILESTYLES App does not have a set uniform requirement, but PROs are encouraged to dress in an appropriate and professional manner.
Are PROs allowed to leave a Live appointment to get more products if they run out?
It is the PRO's responsibility to deliver a successful service. Providing the most convenient health and beauty service means that each PRO must always be ready and prepared. Take proper precautions and use the in-app messaging system to communicate with clients. Inconveniencing clients may affect the PRO's ratings and reviews.
What if a client has an allergic reaction?
It is the PRO's responsibility to take precautions to ask questions using the in-app messaging system to ensure they avoid such situations. If an allergic reaction is to occur onsite, call nearby Emergency Services.
Can I rate clients?
Yes, PROs have the ability to rate and review clients after each appointment.
What if a client wants to book an appointment with me far in advance?
The MOBILESTYLES App allows for PROs to set their schedule for up to 12 months in advance! The client will only be able to schedule a PRO in advance if that PRO has a schedule set up for that period. PRO tip: Keep your schedule open and updated to gain more clients! PROs are required to maintain a minimum availability in order to remain as PROs on the MOBILESTYLES App.
Is there a way to set my schedule weekly vs. daily?
Yes, the MOBILESTYLES App allows for PROs to set their availability for up to 12 months in advance. You will be able to edit it on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. PROs must maintain a minimum availability to keep their profile active.
Do PROs get tax forms?
PROs operate as independent contractors under MOBILESTYLES and will receive a 1099 tax form every year.
Does the tip form have pre-set suggestions?
There are several suggestions with different percentages as well as an option for clients to leave a custom tip.
What do I do if I have to pay for parking when I arrive at an appointment?
It is recommended, as an independent contractor, to keep a record of receipts to report work-related expenses at the time of tax season.
Do I need a business license?
You are not required to have a business license as an independent contractor of MOBILESTYLES App. However, all individuals with or without business must obey county, city, state, and federal laws when it comes to reporting income.
Do I need insurance?
MOBILESTYLES App recommends to have liability insurance for your own safety as an independent contractor, but it is only required by law in some jurisdictions.
Why didn’t I receive a verification email?
If you can't locate the email from MOBILESTYLES in your inbox please make sure to check your spam box and locates the message from firstname.lastname@example.org. Click the link from this email to verify your identity. Make sure you add this email to your contact list so you are able to receive future notifications from MOBILESTYLES.
How long does a background check take?
The turnaround for a background check varies based on the style of information requested, data source limitations, and legal requirements. This can take up to 3 weeks. Meanwhile, we encourage PROs to update their profile with images showcasing their work, style, and other professional information to share with clients. As soon as the background check is cleared, an email will be sent from email@example.com. Please add this to your contact list to avoid further messages getting sent to the spam box.
Do background checks hurt my credit score or cost money?
Background checks are conducted to check for criminal history and do not in any way hurt your credit. The background check is simply a precautionary measure that MOBILESTYLES covers as part of the onboarding process. If a second background check is required, the PRO will cover the second background check.
How do people find out about MOBILESTYLES, and how do you advertise?
MOBILESTYLES has an extensive marketing team that advertises on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, Youtube, Apple, Google, and even radio commercials. We also attend beauty conventions, such as BeautyCon and Women's Expo, to spread the joys and convenience of the MOBILESTYLES App. We're the #1 health and beauty on-demand app in the nation!
Am I allowed to hand out my business cards as a PRO?
PROs are encouraged to share their MOBILESTYLES weblink profile which has special features to exclusively book MOBILESTYLES PROs for future appointments. It is MOBILESTYLES' responsibility to connect clients to PROs. A PRO's goal is to ensure that clients keep requesting and reordering their services via the MOBILESTYLES App. If MOBILESTYLES finds out that the PRO is promoting outside the app to clients who booked an appointment via the app, the PRO will be immediately removed from the app without prior notice.
Is it a conflict of interest if I work for another beauty app?
There is no conflict of interest if a MOBILESTYLES PRO also works for another health and beauty app.
