3 Lazy Ways To Lose Those Extra Few Pounds

Here are quick and easy ways for people who are either too busy or too lazy to hit the treadmill for 30 minutes a day.

With the seasons changing and the burnt out feeling from work being extremely relevant right now, it’s hard for all of us to keep ahead of the health game. Between balancing my exhaustion and stress with my extremely long list of errands I need to run, there is very little time for me to pay attention to what I’m eating, and absolutely zero time for working out. So, instead of letting myself lose sight of a healthy body image, I have found quick and easy ways for those of you who are either too busy or too lazy to hit the treadmill for 30 minutes a day.

  1. CHUG water
Almost every single time I find myself craving food, or find myself becoming hungry 45 minutes after my last meal, it’s because my water bottle is still full on my desk. This is a common issue for every single one of you, I can just about guarantee it, and it leads to consuming extra unnecessary calories. So, next time you’re reaching for that pretzel bag, grab your water bottle and start chugging. This way you are filling yourself up more, and hydrating your body, giving your brain the chance to decide if it actually wants food.

  2. Drink Coffee
Coffee is not only good for your digestive system, but it can also help curb your hunger. Now I am in no way saying drink coffee instead of eating, but if you’re feeling hungry too early in the day, or at an awkward time, drink some coffee. This way you’ll give yourself some extra energy and be able to hold off until lunch time.

  3. Don’t eat after 7
The later you eat in the night, the less chance your body has at digesting the food properly because shortly after, you’ll be sitting still for about 8 hours if you’re lucky. The lack of movement that comes in the afternoon causes our bodies to hold onto what we eat more than it does when we eat breakfast or lunch. So by eating dinner earlier, you give your body the chance to properly digest and not hold onto those extra calories.
