Yoli is a PRO barber and stylist in Chicago, IL. She specializes in barbery, color, children, and waxing. But, she did not always know her dream and passion was to be a part of the beauty industry. Coming from a working-class family, she was under the impression that education and exceptional skill sets were needed to succeed. While completing her undergraduate degree, Yoli picked up the barber trade and is honored to be doing full-time in her career. As a PRO, she values individuality and strives to elevate her clients of all ages and across all spectrums. Yoli is committed to transforming all clients’ wishes into realities.

Even though the world is at a standstill due to COVID-19, Yoli goes above and beyond for her clients to ensure they feel comfortable and safe. It is required that she and her clients wear masks at all times, wear gloves, sanitize all equipment before the appointment, and again in front of the client. This is to ensure clients are in the safest hands during their appointment. Yoli comes equipped with her own table, laundered capes, towels, and barbicide disinfected tools. She feels it is her responsibility as an entrepreneur, mother, and citizen to ensure the safety of her clients. Because of this, she has taken extra steps to become barbicide COVID-19, Infection, Control, Disease, and Blood Borne Pathogen certified.

Despite the times of uncertainty, she aspires to continue to learn and grow beyond her currently offered barber services. She aims to be more versatile in textured services with perm and relaxer training, as well as coloring, such as the blonding technique. She emphasizes to continue learning to provide the highest quality of work for her clients.

Yoli’s favorite thing about being a beautician with MOBILESTYLES, is being her own boss and being able to give clients the highest level of attention. As a woman, she feels safer working with MOBILESTYLES since she is going to the client’s house, place of work, etc. while still being able to offer a variety of services. Since the beginning of the quarantine, her ultimate goal was to grow her brand, which she believes was attainable because of MOBILESTYLES and all of the marketing features the app offers. Lastly, Yoli is a mother, so being able to control her own schedule, health, and her family’s health are her top priorities. Yoli says, “Freedom to provide for your family and feel safe is reason enough to join MOBILESTYLES”.
