CBD Mascara: Beauty Product of The Week
Each week, we have been unpacking our favorite beauty products. This week, we're taking a deep dive to talk about CBD-infused mascara!

I have always been overly skeptical about the mascara I use, simply because when I remove it, seeing my eyelashes go with it absolutely terrifies me. I know that sounds dramatic, but I don’t like the idea that a product could possibly be making me lose my lashes. So throughout my days of makeup, I have tried several mascaras that claim to hydrate lashes while making them look longer. And until very recently, I have not succeeded.
You see, a few weeks ago, I found myself becoming very interested in this CBD trend and how beauty brands have been incorporating it into our products. When I was looking into this, I discovered that the brand MILK actually makes a CBD infused mascara. So I tried it out, and just as I thought, I have fallen in love.
MILK has decided to use CBD oil, or cannabidiol oil, in its mascara in order to have it stick to the lashes. Most companies use different types of wax to do this, but MILK decided to create a vegan form of this. They also chose to do this to make your lashes feel softer while reducing the chemicals you’re using around your eyes.
Overall, the idea of the CBD mascara was absolutely great, and luckily, when I gave it a try I was just as pleased as I had hoped I would be. As stated earlier, I have tried so many different types of mascara, and one of my least favorite parts of it is how clumpy they are when you first open the tube. So when I opened this new bottle and that wasn’t the case, I’m sure you can imagine how excited I was. After using it for about a week or so, I have noticed my eyelashes are not falling out NEARLY as much as they do with other mascaras. They also feel much softer, and the black color doesn’t cake the way it does with other brands. For example, when I take it off at night, I actually feel like it all comes off and don’t wake up with black underneath my eyes anymore.
