How To Throw the Perfect Virtual Friendsgiving
A virtual Friendsgiving can help us to stay safe and healthy and keep distance (physically) from others.
With a pandemic AND holiday season, virtual Friendsgiving helps us stay connected with loved ones!
For this Thanksgiving holiday, consider having your traditional Friendsgiving over Zoom or Google Hangout! You can still have fun with your loved ones, but be safe while doing so. Here is how you can throw the perfect virtual Friendsgiving over Zoom!
Order Food Together
Instead of cooking and eating together, just use Doordash or Postmates! You and your friends can coordinate what you want to eat and order the meals at the same time. This way you all will be eating the same food together, just over zoom. This way there is less of a clean up too, who doesn’t love that?
Say What You’re Grateful For
It’s Thanksgiving and just because you and your friends are not together, you can still find the time and say what you’re grateful for virtually. This year has been hard for everyone, but finding what you’re thankful for with some great pals could lift everyone’s spirits.
Paint and Decorate Pumpkins Together
Make your Friendsgiving get-together an opportunity to get creative. Buy a couple of white pumpkins and some art tools to decorate them with. The pumpkins can serve as a take-home token from your gathering.
Watch a Movie
After getting stuffed from all your delicious food, watch a movie on Zoom by sharing the screen! You and your friends can pick the movie. You can even throw on a Christmas flick, it’s never too early!
While the holiday may look a little different this year, it doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate with your friends. The virtual Friendsgiving activities above can be done remotely — just send your friends the necessary supplies beforehand. From your MOBILESTYLES family, we wish you a happy and safe holiday season!
