As we get older and our lives start to fall into place with a daily routine, I find it hard to sit still and frankly at times I get a little bored. In fact, a lot of the time, I find my head trailing off into thoughts of what I can do to add some flare into my life, without changing too much, and have come to the conclusion that maybe it’s my look that has me feeling a little dull. So, if you’re like me and you’re looking for something that will add some excitement, try these ideas out as a way to spice up your look!

For those of you who aren’t looking for something dramatic, but still want a little change, try switching up your nail shape. I know it sounds so small, and maybe other people won’t even notice, but trust me, when I change up my nails it adds that small push to my day that I need. Changing your nail shape will make it more exciting for you when you look down at your computer, or sign for a package, and can even make you feel more dainty!

Now, for those of you who are interested in a more visible change with a little more pop, update your makeup look. If you typically go with little to no makeup, try adding some eyeshadow or a pop of lip color, and if you’re the opposite, try going blank canvas. It’ll make you feel a little nervous at first, but once you switch up your makeup, you’re setting yourself up for some excitement.

Lastly, for the readers who want to wow with a new style, change up your hairstyle or color. You don’t have to do something that will push the limit entirely, but if you’re blonde, maybe add some lowlights, and if you have hair down to your butt, trim it to your mid back. This way you’re changing it up to the point where there is still a return button, but can always go further!
