Who doesn’t love a PSL? Why not add some collagen to your delicious latte and benefit from it’s anti-aging effects?
Ingredients
Coconut Whip:
-1 400 mL can coconut milk (refrigerate for 24 hours before using)
-1 Tbsp maple syrup
-1 tsp pumpkin spice (substitute for cinnamon if needed)
Latte:
-1 serving collagen (brand of your choice)
-2 cups milk (substitute for non-dairy milk if desired)
-1 Tbsp maple syrup
-½ tsp pumpkin spice (substitute for cinnamon if needed)
-2 Tbsp pumpkin puree
Directions
Coconut Whip:
Using an electric mixer, mix the solidified fat from the coconut milk, maple syrup, and pumpkin spice for 45 seconds or until thoroughly whipped.
Latte:
In a small saucepan, combine the collagen powder, milk, maple syrup, pumpkin spice, and pumpkin puree over medium heat. After the mixture is thoroughly heated, whisk until the mixture is frothy.
Pour the latte mixture into two mugs and top with the coconut whipped cream. Top with extra pumpkin spice or cinnamon and serve immediately.
Banana bread bars
Servings: 6-8
This recipe is an absolute dream! It’s fairly easy to make and super delicious. With the added collagen, you can eat this bread to improve your health.
Ingredients
-2 cups rolled oats
-3 bananas, mashed (the browner, the better)
-½ cup nut butter
-¼ cup chocolate chips
-1 serving collagen (brand of your choice)
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350° F on bake. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
In a bowl, combine all the ingredients and mix well. Pour the mixture into the loaf pan and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the bread is golden on the outside and firm in the center. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before slicing into bar shapes. Drizzle the bars with extra nut butter for added protein.
