If you have events coming up soon, you'll need to follow these steps for a better looking full face makeup. The secret to beautiful, glowing makeup is your skin preparation. Here are my secrets and best steps for beautiful skin.

  1. Clean skin: This is the most important step for a beautiful complexion. I personally recommend cleaning your face the night before by using Clarisonic with your favorite cleanser and followed by your nighttime beauty routine.

  2. Face mask: Since you cleaned your skin the night before, all you need to do in the morning is to rinse your face with warm water. Dry and apply your favorite face mask before getting in the shower. I suggest using ALIVE by Algenist. This amazing mask exfoliates your skin in 3 to 5 minutes.  (Do not forget that you need to apply any face mask over clean face)

  3. Tonic: Once you've hopped out of the shower, follow it up with a good step by step skincare routine. A face toner is super important because it will give your skin extra hydration. You can use a homemade rose water as your toner or buy one from Trader Joe’s.

  4. Eye Cream: This is an important step! Find a good eye cream because no one wants to see baggy eyes. Personally, I love using Complete Eye Renewal Balm from Algenist. I also recommend using an ice eye mask for 5 to 10 minutes after applying your eye cream. If you don’t have an ice eye mask, you can use a beauty roller or a jade roller.

  5. Serum: You can use your favorite serum, but since our goal is for our skin to glow, make sure to use a Vitamin C serum. If you have a beauty roller, use it after applying the serum.

  6. Moisturizer: Use a good moisturizing cream daily. Make sure it can hydrate your skin all day long.

  7. Sunblock: No matter what the season is, always protect your skin from UVB and UVA rays.

Follow these simple beauty steps before a full face makeup, and I guarantee you that your makeup will look like your favorite celebrities on the red carpet.
