Forget Tradition! Try a Valentine’s Day Bucket List Instead.
This Valentine’s Day bucket list is a joint venture and should include things that you both love. You could include anything under the sun!
It’s that time of year again! When guys scramble to find the best presents for their girlfriends or gals try to figure out what in the world they can get their unassuming boyfriends or the rest of us try to figure out who came up with this “holiday” in the first place. You could fall into any of these categories, but one thing you may not know is that there is a way to solve this Valentine’s Day dilemma once and for all! Instead of trying to guess the one thing that screams "I love you," get together with your significant other and come up with a bucket list filled with fun, romantic activities you want to do as a couple!
Now, this Valentine’s Day bucket list is a joint venture and should include things that you both love or would love to experience. You could include anything under the sun -- a trip to a foreign country, skydiving, or a bed and breakfast in the next town over for a romantic weekend sans the cell phones. If you are at a loss for ideas, then start here. Once you get your creative juices flowing, you’ll find that the ideas just fly right out of you. Sit down with your significant other and try it out. Start with some ideas like the ones listed below.
-
A weekend getaway to Santa Barbara, Palm Springs, or Malibu. A getaway may be exactly what you need to escape the madness and get closer to your partner.
-
A catered romantic night. Hire a chef and massage therapist! Spend the night having an amazing dinner with your favorite foods and a couples massage!
-
A weekly date/adventure. Turn the month into a bucket list adventure, and visit places you have always wanted to see and experience!
If you start with a few simple ideas, it’ll only be a matter of time before you and your partner turn the month of love into your own little paradise. So make your own rules and enjoy!
