5 Suitcase Packing Hacks To Try This Holiday Travel Season

Looking for tips to travel like a pro? We’ve got you covered. Here are five suitcase packing hacks to try this holiday season.

These suitcase pacing hacks will save you time and space!

The holiday season is upon us, and that means it’s time to travel and visit our friends and families. Traveling can be frustrating, especially when it comes to fitting all your essentials into one bag. Unfortunately, we can’t pack our whole life and take it with us. That’s why it’s important to know effective ways to pack your suitcase to help you save space. That's why we made this list of suitcase packing hacks!

Use plastic ziplock bags

When it comes to packing your toiletries, I recommend putting them in ziplock bags. This will come in handy when you go through TSA and will help you organize all your bathroom items. Sadly, I’m sure we’ve all experienced a lotion bursting in our luggage. If this happens, at least it will stay contained in the plastic baggie and won't smear onto your clothing.

Try out packing organizers

Packing organizers or packing cubes allow you to pack your items into small, organized sections. You can keep all your underwear, socks, or T-shirts in their own section to help efficiency. This will also make repacking items easier.

Instead of folding, try rolling your clothing

Rolling your clothing can help give you extra space in your suitcase. Not only is it easier than folding all of your items, but it's neater and allows for more room for holiday gifts for your family and friends. I personally tried this trick when I went to Prague over the summer, and it saved me tons of room. In fact, it really helped with packing souvenirs on the way back home.

Try placing the heavier items toward the bottom of your suitcase

When you place your suitcase vertically, place the heavier items at the very bottom. This will help with weight management. It also assists with protecting items that may be easily damaged or wrinkled.

For preparation, make a list of travel essentials

Before packing any items in your luggage, create a list of your travel essentials. This list of suitcase packing hacks will ensure you won’t forget any important items before your trip.
