I mean, it’s already December, but you can pull it off, and MOBILESTYLES has got your back to help you figure it out!
Order out!
The last thing you want to worry about is what to cook for your party. Take some time to research the best restaurants and see if they cater events. This is the thing that will save you the most time, especially if you are not the best cook. Instead of spending hours cooking, you can spend that time working on your fabulous outfit and relaxing. Take it a step further and hire some models or a service that provides bottle or white-glove service.
Give your party an afterparty or a pre-party
Sitting down for pre-party cocktails is a cool way to show your closest friends and family some love. Before your big event, catch up with your favorite people. Call it “Cocktails and Convo!” If you are more of the afterparty type, invite your favorite people to stay after the party is over and celebrate a successful night with hors d’oeuvres and champagne! Send this invitation separately to your favorite people. Make it a secret gathering! That will let your VIPs know that they are special and, more importantly, to keep things under wraps because this gathering is invite-only!
Send your guests home with something
Ever heard of a party favor? Well, my aunt is the queen of them. I adopted the idea of never showing up at someone’s house empty-handed, but how about this? Don’t let anyone leave empty-handed. Send them away with a little token of your appreciation. If your party is themed, give your guests little gifts that resemble the theme or send them away with gift bags with a mini bottle of champagne, chocolates, and a handwritten note. Your guests will love the personal touch, and you’ll feel great offering your well wishes during the holidays.
Make it a tasting!
If you are having a sit-down dinner, then this one's for you! Make the night a night of tastings. Hire a chef and serve up a tasting menu for your friends and family. It should be festive and creative. Make sure everything complements the food: wine, champagne, and non-alcoholic beverages included. If you are a chef yourself, surprise your guests with a tasting of your favorite creations. This little touch makes things personal, and guests love the thoughtful gesture.
Get some live music!
If only for a few songs, have a live musician or band serenade your guests with original songs, oldies but goodies, or a creative rendition of the latest hits. It can get a little expensive if you are looking for a 5-piece band, but if you have a smaller budget, you can hire a pianist, guitarist, violinist, or any other musician to turn your party into the talk of the town!
