1. Perform One Act of Kindness Every Day
Make someone’s day this year - by performing one act of kindness every day. Not only will they feel great, but you will, too. Plus, kindness is contagious, and you may soon find it returned!

On average, about 24,000 songs are added to music streaming services every day, and one million tracks every six weeks. That is quite a selection of new, and interesting music you can sift through. Instead of hitting 'play' on your favorite jam, discover one new song every day. And, before you know it, you may find yourself with a new favorite song.
3. Volunteer at a Nursing Home Once a Month
Sometimes, in life, we forget how fortunate we are. Spread your love and joy by volunteering at a nursing home once a month. By regularly visiting, you will brighten an elderly person’s day, and you may also gain a new friend.
4. Start a Blog
You don’t have to be a writer to start a blog. Let the world know about your passion(s). Tune everyone into your favorite recipes, or show off your amazing photography skills. You never know, you may find a few fans.

Since you're already doing one act of kindness every day, you can’t forget to be kind to yourself. We can tear ourselves down at times, and it truly takes a toll on our mental health. Instead of thinking about all the negatives, focus on all the positive attributes you have. Whether you write it down in a journal or say it out loud in the mirror, make sure to be kind to yourself every day.
10. Break a Record
Use the upcoming year as your time to do something super cool, like breaking a record. It doesn't matter if you choose to break a world record or your own personal record, you are proving to yourself that you can work towards achieving anything you set your mind to.
