Galore Beauty’s founder Stephanie Wood-Dixon originally started in the tax and accounting business until she later got her license as an aesthetician. Once she was licenced, Stephanie started her beauty business with lash extensions- since then Galore Beauty has expanded and now carries a full line of cosmetics, including products for your face, brows, and eyes.
This brand is loved by celebs, celebrity stylists, and bloggers for a reason! Their products are seriously amazing. The founder of Nancy Twine started her journey in beauty at just 5 years old while she was helping her grandmother make hair products. Nancy moved to New York City and began making her own natural hair care products when she realized that the ones that were currently on the market. Gilded is another Black-owned beauty store that was founded by Blair Armstrong who is a professional Dermatology Physician Assistant. Her goal with Gilded Body was to create awareness about skincare for the body. It’s just as important to take care of the skin on our bodies as we take care of the skin on our face! Gilded Body carries body oils, body scrubs, tools, candles, and other products to make your body skincare routine a luxurious one. Gilded gives back to the community by offering virtual and in-person visits to the dermatologist for uninsured and lower income women and children in the Atlanta area.
