The bushy brow can make a big change to your look, helping you to feel fresh-faced and put together. So why not try a new method to up your brow game?
Defined, fluffy brows are a game changer, so here are two ways to get them on fleek!
One of the best things about the bushy brow trend is the variety of techniques there are to achieve it. You might have heard of microblading (a semi-permanent tattoo of individual brow hairs), but there are other ways to craft the fluffy brows you’ve always dreamed of!
Soap brows
If you’ve never tried soap brows, be prepared to be amazed! This DIY technique takes a little time and patience to master, but when you do, you’ll find it hard to stop. The best part? It costs barely anything — all you need is a bar of clear soap and a clean spoolie. Alternatively, pick up a soap brow kit.
Soap brow steps:
1: Lightly wet your spoolie with water, or mist the soap with a facial spray.
2: Rub the bristles against the soap until you form a gel-like paste.
3: Start to comb through your brow and shape it.
4: Once you’re happy, use the non-bristled part of the spoolie to push down on the brow, removing any excess.
5: Allow them to dry.
6: Fill in any sparse areas with a brow powder or pencil if necessary.
Brow lamination
Do you wish there was a way to get the bushy brow look without having to spend time perfecting it each morning and washing it off each night? Enter brow lamination! This technique took off with the fluffy brow trend and has been soaring rapidly in popularity ever since. This treatment perms your brows and sets them into your desired shape.
What to expect from a brow lamination session:
1: A therapist applies a lifting cream solution to break down bonds in the hair.
2: Brows are brushed into place and a neutralizer is applied to allow the bonds to rebuild their new, fluffy shape.
3: A nourishing oil is applied to condition the brows.
You can also opt to have your brows waxed and tinted with lamination, depending on the look you want to achieve. The treatment costs between $60-80 and it lasts around six weeks.
