What to wear this fourth of July
What to wear, what to wear. Summer is almost here, which means it's time to celebrate Independence Day! Check out these cute Fourth of July outfit options.
Fireworks, family BBQs, swimming, and celebrating our nation’s independence. We can't ask for anything more! If you're like me, you're probably planning what food to bring to a potluck, and (more importantly) what to wear! Sure you could wear the obvious red, white, and blue T-shirt from Old Navy, but why not get creative? You can still be cozy without jeopardizing your chic looks. For comfy yet cute ideas on what to wear this Fourth, keep reading!
A short, T-shirt dress
T-shirt dresses are great outfits and require minimal effort. If you go this route, you can purchase a cute red or blue T-shirt dress and pair it with white, high-top converse. Plus the loose-fitting T-shirt dress allows you to get second helpings of the family BBQ without feeling too constricted. With a dress like this, there's always room for seconds!
Simply and classic: Denim

You can never go wrong with denim, especially in the summer! For this holiday, might I recommend high-waisted denim shorts or jean jacket? Both are closet staples, and you will most likely wear them again. Topshop, in my opinion, creates the best high waisted shorts. And for the jean jacket, you can never go wrong with Levi's.
Timeless: White, high top Converses or Vans
I mentioned high-top converse earlier, and honestly, I’m mentioning them again because they are the perfect shoes for Fourth of July! Converse shoes are a summer staple, and will always be in style. The same goes for high-top, white Vans. They are both timeless shoes that will look good on anyone, not to mention they are extremely comfortable!
Don’t forget a swimsuit!
It’s always HOT on the Fourth! If you're going to a party with a pool, don't forget to bring a stylish, patriotic one-piece swimsuit. Forever 21 and Target have cool, affordable options that's ideal for this holiday!
