Oatmeal and Turmeric Face Mask
Turmeric balances skin, reduces scarring, evens skin tone, and is anti-inflammatory. Turmeric and oatmeal work together to create the perfect face mask to treat your skin!
How to:
Blend ½ cup oats and 1½ tsp of turmeric powder into a powder consistency.
Combine the powder with 2 tablespoons of the oil of your choice.
Stir in water so the mask is spreadable.
Apply the mask all over your face (avoiding the eyes) and leave on for 5-10 minutes, then rinse off. Follow up with your regular skin care routine.
Oatmeal and Honey Body Scrub
Honey is a natural antibiotic and has amazing anti-inflammatory properties that help to soothe and heal the skin. It’s also very moisturizing. This oatmeal and honey body scrub is perfect for the changing seasons and weather.
How to:
Use a blender to finely grind oatmeal.
Mix 2 parts finely ground oatmeal with 1 part honey to form a paste.
Apply the mixture all over your face/body and scrub in a circular motion.
Let the scrub sit for a few minutes and rinse it off with warm water.
