From concealer to chemical peels, we’ve got the best tips for dark circles under the eyes that will help you.
They can make us look tired and sick, but these tips for dark circles under eyes will help you make the best of them!
We can absolutely conceal them and look more refreshed with just a bit of effort, these 6 tips for dark circles under eyes will definitely have you looking refreshed!
1. Try A Color Corrector
Finding a color corrector that works for your skin tone can do wonders on your dark circles. But be careful! Choosing the wrong color can actually make your dark circles look much more prominent.
2. Just A Smidge Of Foundation
Sometimes color correctors might not work for you and that’s okay! Add just a light layer of foundation on them to minimize the look. They’ll most likely still show through, but they’ll be much less prominent and you won’t have to deal with excess products under your eyes.
3. Use Eyeshadow
Using an eyeshadow that would be the same shade as your color corrector is a great and easy way to cover your dark circles without having to buy a new product. Apply some concealer on top to hide the color correcting color, which is usually an orange or red and your dark circles will magically disappear!
4. Make Them POP!
This post may be about concealing them, but we want you to know that it is OK to have dark circles! Don’t be ashamed of them and you can even make them pop even more with a mauve eyeshadow to accentuate them even more.
5. Cucumbers and Tea Bags
Maybe you want to go a more natural route, and we’ve got something for that too! You just need some cucumber or tea bags under your eyes to reduce puffiness and brighten the skin under your eyes. Bonus! If you put them in the refrigerator to make them that much more cooler to the touch.
6. Chemical Peel
Pigment-related dark circles respond especially well to a chemical peel. This can be a bit of an extreme method but it’s more likely to last longer than the temporary fixes we’ve mentioned.
Whatever your reason to want to cover up or even show off your dark circles, just know that you’re allowed to do what you want! Hopefully, these tips for dark circles under eyes can help — whether it's a simple foundation touch-up or an intensive chemical peel, it’s your body and we support you!
