MOBILESTYLES is now hiring for beauty therapist jobs, so it's good to know what certifications you will need before applying. All PROs who work with us must follow their state certification and licensing requirements to prove their eligibility to perform services.
In order to gain a license, most states follow similar requirements:

Be at least 16 years old

Have a high school diploma or GED
-
Complete a state-mandated licensing program
Ensure that you check the requirements in your state in order to gain your licensing and determine where to complete your education or training for a beautician job.
For instance, some states require a minimum 1,500 hours of instruction before qualifying to take a licensing exam. It important to know your state's protocols when pursuing a beauty therapist career!
The main responsibilities for a beauty therapist job are usually treatments such as facials, tanning, hair removal, and more. You should always be able to provide consultations and recommended treatments for your clients' particular needs.
