Colorists needed! Your colorist job starts here! All PROs who work with MOBILESTYLES must follow their state certification and licensing requirements to prove their eligibility to perform services.
In order to gain a colorist career license, most states follow similar requirements:

Be at least 16 years old

Have a high school diploma or GED

Complete a state-licensed cosmetology program
It is very important that you check the licensing requirements in your state before deciding on where you will complete your education or training for your colorist job.
For instance, an apprenticeship in California requires 3,200 hours of training over a two-year period, and an additional 220 hours of classroom time. Hair colorist career requirements may vary significantly across different states.
